On January 8 an open volleyball cup commemorating the upcoming New Year took place in Chistopol. Five teams took part in the tournament: BETAR, BSEC, Continental, Roscoe and a team from Alekseevskoe town settlement. Rosko – Alekseevskoe and BETAR – Continental teams became semi-finalists of the tournament. Having won 2-0 in an uncompromising and honest fight, our team reached the final where they met with the guests from Alekseevsk. In the deciding match, both teams showed their skills and teamwork, but the team from Alekseevsk was stronger, and beat us 2-1. All participants demonstrated a high level of play, good physical preparation. We should mention good teamwork and the desire to win of both teams.
